FACT: Cash From Marijuana Fuels Mexico's Drug War. LEGALIZE IT

About 24,000 people have been killed in drug-related violence in Mexico since President Felipe Calderon declared war on the cartels in December 2006.

But Calderon's war is not just about cocaine, heroin and other "hard" drugs. Mexican troops are also fighting gun battles to stop the trafficking of marijuana — the weed that might be legalized later this year across the border in California.

As Mexico's biggest agricultural export, marijuana generates billions of dollars in revenues each year for the brutal narcotics cartels. By some estimates, it is the most profitable product for the Mexican drug gangs.

SO READY FOR THE SUMMER!

I don't know if you guys have noticed but people are really starting to buzz about summer time.
Well we have that very same felling.
Why?
Becuase there's a lot we have to do this year.
And I think it's about time to answer all the questions you have been asking us starting wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiith, you, over there!

"Yes, we are going on our first national tour in almost a year with the SUMMER UNITY TOUR 2010 w/ 311 & The Offspring."

"Yes, we are releasing our BEST ALBUM ever in 2010."

"Yes, we are putting together the funnest FALL TOUR 2010 you have ever seen."

"And Yes, we will be returning home to Hawaii this WINTER with Volcom for our VOLCANIC ROCK TOUR & 6TH ANNUAL KONA TOWN MUSIC FESTIVAL, not to mention we'll be crashing the North Shore with some FREE SECRET SHOWS(Street Team members will have the codes, www.pepperlive.com) at the PIPE LINE WINTER CLASSIC 2010."

There's a lot going down, I know.
But I gotta say that our time off has been special for us just having such a blast with friends and family, writting new music with my two closest brothers in our new studio, creating Pepper board shorts with Volcom, designing Pepper skate boards with Sector 9, Working with the "Save Our Oceans Foundation" back home in Hawaii to clean up our beloved island nation and sometimes even taking salsa lessons from a sweaty-dark man named Raul!

Forget that last part.........

What I'm trying to say folks is that, Pepper has reached it's second coming. We are in love with MUSIC like never before. We are TOGETHER like no other time in our HISTORY and we are ready to share with you guys all the LIFE and LOVE we've found!
